We are  seeking a skilled and dedicated Tyre Fitter who is responsible for fitting, repairing, balancing and rotating tyres, performing wheel alignments, and providing excellent customer service. This hands-on role offers plenty of variety within the workshop.

Task & responsibilities

• Inspect tyres to identify required repairs, fix punctures, and refit tyres and tubes using air-driven equipment.
• Balance wheels and tyres with precision using static and electronic tools.
• Remove and replace damaged or worn vehicle parts, ensuring surrounding areas are clean and ready for refitting.
• Install, repair, and maintain exhaust systems, including mufflers, extractors, and pipes.
• Remove and service radiators, repair leaks or damages, and reinstall them along with related cooling system components such as thermostats, head gaskets, and water pumps.
• Fit new batteries and install accessories like alarms, stereos, and sunroofs.
• Replace damaged windscreens and glass, removing seals and trims, then fitting and sealing new glass securely.

Qualification & experience

• Proven tyre diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience fitting truck tyres and managing customer fleets.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Minimum 1 year to 3 years of relevant experience 
• Reliable, honest, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety-focused with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Positive attitude and readiness to take on challenges.
• Possession of valid Australian work rights.
• Additional skills, tickets, and licenses will be highly regarded.
