Metar Pty Ltd ATF Phipps Family Trust is seeking a Motor Mechanic (General)

This is a full-time position at $80,000 salary yearly.

Skill/ Experience Required:

Australian Certification in Mechanic or Comparable with Australian Standard.

At least 3-5 years or more experience

The successful candidate must possess the following skills and ability:

Perform tests on components of petrol and diesel engines, transmissions and steering and suspensions

Diagnosing faults in petrol and engines

Repair mechanical parts of lightweight motor vehicles as necessary

Remove engines transmissions and other mechanic components and service them

Replacing defective parts with aid of service manuals

Use of scan tools to diagnose faulty components

Strip and reassemble engines and transmissions with reconditioned parts.

Perform servicing and scheduled maintenance as per manufacturing guidelines

Adjust and test brakes and mechanical parts after repairs to ensure safety and performance

Inspect vehicles for annual certificate of inspection with aid of authorized officer
