About the role

This full-time Concretor role offers an excellent opportunity to join the dynamic team at GCF in Burleigh Heads, QLD. As a Concretor, you will play a crucial part in the construction and maintenance of residential and commercial properties, contributing to the growth and success of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and pouring concrete foundations, slabs, and other concrete structures to specification

• Ensuring the proper mixing, placement, and finishing of concrete

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine work requirements

• Operating and maintaining concrete equipment and tools

• Collaborating with the construction team to coordinate concrete work and meet project deadlines

• Adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards

• Providing exceptional customer service to clients

What we're looking for

• Formal training or apprenticeship in concreting or a related construction trade

• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Concretor

• Strong understanding of concrete mixing, placement, and finishing techniques

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Commitment to safety and quality standards

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
