Your New Role

As a CNC Machinist, you will operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high-precision components used in heavy mining equipment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce parts to spec

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Set up and adjust machines including appropriate tool selections

• Routine maintenance and troubleshoot machines and equipment

• Inspect parts using measuring tools

• Support process improvements with engineers, supervisors and the team

• Follow safety procedures and keep area clean

• Document production activities, including machine settings, adjustments, and completed work

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.

• Certificate III or IV in Engineering (Machining) or equivalent trade qualification.

• Strong knowledge of CNC programming

• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and interpreting engineering drawings.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance
