About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tailor/Seamstress to join our team at KD Tailor Alterations and Dry-cleaning in Hobart, TAS. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a thriving local business.

What you'll be doing

• Providing basic and high-quality tailoring and alterations services to our customers
• Repairing and modifying clothing items, such as hemming, taking in or letting out seams, and replacing zippers
• Offering expert advice and guidance to customers on the best alterations for their garments
• Collaborating with the team to deliver excellent customer service and build a loyal client base.

What we're looking for 

• Rights to work in Australia (no sponsorships).
• Proven experience as a Tailor or Seamstress and competent in using industrial machines.
• Basic computer skills desired.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
• Good time management and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
• Flexibility to work a casual schedule
