About the Role

Gunnadoo Daintree Coral Sea Retreat is seeking experienced and reliable Cleaners to join our team in Mossman, Queensland. As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of our luxury accommodation, ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay.

This is a casual position with flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle. We are also open to a job-share arrangement and happy to employ two cleaners to fulfil the role requirements.

This position would ideally suit:

• A retired person looking for flexible part-time work

• A parent wanting to work around school hours

• A professional cleaner seeking additional ongoing work

• Someone local who enjoys working independently in a beautiful environment

What You'll Be Doing

• Thoroughly cleaning and preparing guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces to a high standard

• Replenishing guest supplies including toiletries, towels, tea and coffee items, and amenities

• Following hygiene, safety, and presentation standards at all times

• Reporting maintenance issues or property concerns to management

• Assisting with general housekeeping and property presentation duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality preferred

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to high standards

• Friendly and professional approach to guest accommodation preparation

• Flexibility to work various days across a 7-day roster depending on bookings

• Availability between the hours of approximately 10:00am and 3:00pm

• Must be local to the Mossman / Daintree / Port Douglas region

• Must have reliable transport

• Must hold an ABN or be willing to obtain one
