About the role

This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Truck driver (HR) and Roller operator to join the dynamic team at Everest Civil in Brisbane, QLD. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the smooth delivery of civil construction projects, operating a range of heavy plant and equipment to support the efficient execution of construction activities.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate a range of heavy plant and equipment, including HR class trucks and rollers.
Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment
Follow all site safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Work collaboratively with the broader construction team to complete tasks on schedule and to a high standard
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and safety

What we're looking for

Current HR class driver's licence and experience operating a range of heavy plant and equipment, including rollers, in a civil construction environment
Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and a commitment to safe work practices
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to effectively navigate challenging site conditions
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the broader construction team
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as required
Wiling to work a away on a 10/4 roster
