Tracc Civil is an industry leading civil construction and earthmoving company based in Bibra Lake, Western Australia with projects spread throughout the Perth Metropolitan Area.

We cover a wide range of projects in-house through our different divisions, including road construction, bulk earthworks, wall construction, Ingrounds (cable laying, trenching), and electrical divisions. While previous experience in the civil / construction industry, traffic management, or general labouring is an advantage, we also encourage entry-level candidates to apply as training will be provided on the job.

To be considered for the role, you will meet the following requirements:

• Current and valid Driver's License and your own reliable transport.
• Construction Induction (White) Card.
• Ability to follow safe work procedures and adhere to site requirements.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, small equipment, and manual tasks related to civil construction work, an advantage.
• Physically fit, motivated, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Demonstrate good communication and basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build trust through integrity, honesty, and openness.

Reporting to the Project Site Manager/Leading Hand you will undertake various duties including but not limited to:

Ingrounds Labourer:

• Ingrounds labouring duties such as pit building and assisting with pipe and conduit laying.
• Operating small plant and equipment, including plate compactors and quick cuts.
• Gaining working knowledge and experience operating general basic plant equipment such as rollers and watercarts.
• Assist with cable truck and winch operations.
• Assist with rod and rope of underground conduits.
• Assist with internal conduit and cable installations.
• General labouring tasks such as sweeping, digging, site clean-up, and fencing.

Wall Construction Labourer:

• Following instructions to perform retaining wall tasks such as chopping in and spreading cement on walls, leveling sand, mixing cement with equipment like a tip-mixer or bobcat, trowelling cement on walls for desired finish, cleaning spills and assisting with clean-ups.
• Keeping the mixing station clean and safe.
• Safely operating small plant and equipment, including plate compactors, mixers, and quick cuts.
• Learning to operate general basic plant equipment incl. rollers, watercarts, excavators and bobcats, through training and on-the-job experience.
• Using basic hand tools like shovels, brooms, brushes and towels.
• General labouring duties such as sweeping, digging, site clean-up, and fencing.
