Task & responsibilities

We are seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic to play a key role in supporting our workshop operations by maintaining, repairing, and preparing a wide variety of vehicles and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

•    Diagnosing and repairing faults in petrol and diesel engines, including light and heavy vehicles

•    Conducting pre-blasting mechanical assessments, including removal of sensitive components

•    Performing maintenance and servicing to ensure equipment reliability

•    Dismantling and reassembling engines, transmissions, and associated systems

•    Reinstalling and testing components following blasting and painting processes

•    Ensuring all vehicles meet operational and safety standards prior to delivery

•    Using diagnostic equipment and interpret service manuals

•    Maintaining accurate service records and comply with workshop procedures


Qualification & experience

Minimum Requirements

•    AQF Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

•    At least 3 years of relevant full-time experience

•    Strong experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
