The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in automotive servicing and repairs.

Job Type: Permanent full-time

Hours: 38h p/w (Monday to Friday)

Annual Salary: $70,000.00 – $80,,000.00

Task & Responsibilities

Perform general servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools.
Conduct inspections and provide accurate assessments of vehicle conditions.
Replace or repair worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and other essential components.
Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace.

Qualification & Experience

Minimum of a relevant certificate IV or equivalent in substantial experience ( a Certificate iii and 2 years of experience suffice, or 3 years of experience for those without a qualification)
Valid Australian Drivers License
Minimum of 1 Year experience as a Motor Mechanic in the field.

Essential Skills and Requirements

Demonstrated light vehicle repair, service and maintenance skills including a solid understanding of petrol engines, suspension, transmission, steering and braking systems.
Ability to read and interpret a broad range of vehicles service manuals.
Ability to use computers for the purpose of diagnosing faults and testing vehicle parts
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Ability to prioritise workload to ensure customer and management deadlines are met.
Excellent customer service skills including the ability to effectively communicate
Passion for your trade.
