Task & responsibilities

• Perform Automotive electrical repairs, installations, and 12V & 24V systems on campers and vehicles
• Workshop based and outdoor tasks including camper and off-grid installation
• Automotive workshop experience, problem solving skills, good communication skills
• Repair, upgrade, install electrical systems in campers
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and structural issues
• Perform pre- and post-sale inspections and tests
• Mechanical, Electrical aptitude
• Installing accessories on campers
• Collaborate with the team, document findings and ensure smooth repairs
• Diagnose and repair electric faults in campers and vehicles
• Maintain accurate records and complete job reports
• Installing and fitting out 12v/240v, solar, and advanced battery systems 
• Install, diagnose and repair solar and battery systems
• Install and maintain automotive electrical, air conditioning, off-grid power, solar and accessory installations across 4WDs, campers, light vehicles
• Compliance with safety and road vehicle standards

Qualification & experience

- Trade qualification as an Automotive Electrician (Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent).

- Workshop Management experience (desired but not necessary)

- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical systems.

- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electronics, including CAN Bus systems.

- Ability to interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Air-conditioning and refrigeration certification (highly desirable but not essential).
