We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand who is highly capable, motivated and driven by design and detail. Work across the Northern Beaches, North Shore and surrounding suburbs.

About the role

As the Leading Hand you will be responsible for a small group of Carpenters, working closely with the Senior Site Managers and Site Managers. You will work with the Cadence & Co construction team and may also liaise with other members of the Cadence & Co business as required, as well as external parties.

About you

• Experience working as a Carpenter, preferably on high-end residential, architecturally designed homes

• Able to confidently manage a small team of Carpenters and Apprentices on site

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills

• Ability to oversee subcontractors, suppliers and deliveries

• Ability to interpret plans and follow a construction program

• Own all powered and hand tools to complete all carpentry tasks on site

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified Carpenter

• A valid driver's license and own vehicle

• White Card - General Construction Induction Card
