Task & responsibilities

• Diagnostics: Perform detailed vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Repairs: Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other components.
• Servicing: Carry out routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake servicing, and tyre rotations.
• Quality Assurance: Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs and maintenance work meet quality standards.
• Customer Interaction: Clearly explain technical issues and provide repair and maintenance recommendations to customers when required.
• Compliance: Follow workshop procedures and adhere to health and safety regulations (WHS standards).
• Knowledge Upkeep: Stay updated on new automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Qualification & experience

• A Diploma in Automotive Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 months of relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driver’s license.
