Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake inspection, tire rotation and fluid checks.
• Use advance diagnostic tools and systems to accurately identify mechanical issues and provide efficient solutions.
• Conduct complex repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission servicing, and replacement of components.
• Provide clear explanations to clients about the repair process, estimated timelines and cost projections.
• Ensure that all work complies with Australian emission standards and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate and details records of repairs, services performed, parts used and diagnostic findings.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe and efficient working environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification, specifically a Certificate IV or Diploma in Automotive Mechanical technology.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
• Possession of a valid Australian Open Driver’s License.
• Strong proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and a solid understanding of automotive systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work.
