Power Boar is a growing Queensland electrical contractor delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects across Queensland, and forms part of the Boar Group, which has been operating across Queensland for close to 20 years

With the backing of Boar Groups' existing client base and impeccable track record, Power Boar continues to grow, and we are now looking for an Electrical Estimator to join the team and play a key role in pricing and securing upcoming projects.

This role would suit:

• An experienced Electrical Estimator looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing business, or

• An experienced Electrician ready to transition off the tools into an office-based estimating role.

About the Role

You will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical estimates, reviewing project documentation, coordinating supplier pricing, and supporting the successful delivery of tenders and projects.

Working closely with management and project teams, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work while being part of a supportive and hands-on team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates and tender submissions

• Review drawings, specifications, and project scopes

• Complete material take-offs and labour assessments

• Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors

• Assist with procurement and project budgeting

• Identify project risks and opportunities

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams

• Maintain estimating records and documentation

About You

We are looking for someone who is motivated, organised, and eager to contribute the rapidly growing team.

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience in electrical estimating or project coordination

• Strong knowledge of commercial and/or industrial electrical installations

• Ability to interpret plans and technical drawings

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Good computer and Microsoft Office skills

• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
