Job Description:
As a skilled Shopfitter, you will play a vital role in fabricating, assembling, and installing high-quality modular datarooms. Your primary responsibility will be interpreting plans and specifications to construct and install fitouts that meet exacting standards.

Responsibilities:
· Set out, fabricate, assemble, and install wall panels, roofing, cabinets etc according to detailed drawings, sketches, and specifications.
· Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and production orders.
· Measure on-site accurately, prepare materials (including cutting, shaping, and forming using hand/power tools and machinery), and select appropriate materials and fixings.
· Assemble components in the workshop and install them on-site, ensuring precise fit and alignment.
· Use a variety of tools and equipment safely, including saws, routers, drills, joinery machines, and installation hardware.
· Inspect finished work to verify conformance with specifications, quality standards, and building regulations.
· Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, and troubleshoot issues during fabrication or installation.
· Collaborate with team members, other trades, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery and meet deadlines.
· Adhere to safety guidelines, including White Card requirements, and maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area.

Requirements:
· Minimum five years of experience as a Shopfitter, Joiner, Cabinetmaker, or in commercial fitouts/installations.
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
· Strong knowledge of shopfitting techniques, including fabrication, assembly, and on-site installation of fixtures using wood, metal, glass, plastic, and composite materials.
· Experience using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery for joinery and fitout work.
· Basic CAD or design software familiarity for interpreting plans (advantageous).
· Excellent mathematical skills, measurement accuracy, and attention to detail for producing high-quality work.
· Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced workshop and on-site environment.
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities during fabrication or installation.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Possession of a valid White Card (or willingness to obtain one).
