About the role

Choice Interiors is looking for staff to start work in the new year, including Tradesmen, a 1st year apprentice, 2nd & 3rd year apprentices.

CABINETMAKER

Join the team at Choice Interiors' as a Cabinetmaker. This full-time role in GOULBURN will see you contributing your expertise to the design, manufacture and installation of high-quality custom cabinets and furniture for residential and commercial projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Interpret design specifications and drawings to produce detailed cabinet and furniture plans

2. Use a range of woodworking tools and machinery to fabricate cabinetry and furniture components

3. Assemble and install custom cabinets and furniture on-site, ensuring a precise and professional finish

4. Collaborate with the design team to provide input on design feasibility and recommend improvements

5. Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment, following all relevant health and safety procedures

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualification in Cabinet Making or a related Trades field

2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Cabinetmaker, ideally in a custom furniture or joinery workshop

3. Strong working knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery and techniques

4. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills

5. Ability to read and interpret design plans and technical drawings

6. Good time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines

7. A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
