About the Business

ProStar Joinery is an Australian manufacturer, importer and supplier of timber joinery products that provide to wholesale and trade customers all over Australia. We specialise in retail ready flat pack products, and are rapidly expanding into custom, made to measure products for our trade and commercial customers (ProStar Trade).

Working closely with other trade professionals on site and reporting directly to the Group Trade & Commercial Manager, you will perform residential and commercial installations of our products. Installations will be performed in the greater Brisbane area and on occasion Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast. 

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Timber Cabinet (Kitchen) Installer who is highly organised to join our growing team. Time management and accuracy is essential for this role. We value safety, respect, motivation, and reliability above all else. We believe that our success is attributed to our staff and the quality work they perform on duty. 

Duties

• Plan and coordinate the execution of installation work to deliver results efficiently, at minimal cost and to high standards

• Provide clear instructions and support to the Trades Assistants

• Apply excellent problem solving and communication skills to address issues as they arise

• Act as representative for the company when dealing with customers, site contacts, or when making deliveries

• Adhere to quality control standards, WHS Procedures and contribute to cost control 

Skills and Experience

• An experienced and qualified cabinetmaker or carpenter

• The ability to read detailed plans and job sheets

• Excellent time management skills

• Great problem solving and communication skills

• Excellent presentation and client facing abilities

• Current trade license

• Current driver's license

• Must have a current white card

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• A sense of urgency, with the ability to multitask and continually work productively

• Ability to adhere to Work, Health and Safety Procedures
