Task & responsibilities

Task & Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to interpret briefs, proposals, and design requirements for signage projects
• Design and produce signs using computer software, sign making machines, and manual techniques
• Create custom artwork, such as wall murals, vehicle graphics and screen prints
• Apply paints and coatings using various materials like lacquers, varnishes and enamels
• Install signs on-site, including working on scaffolding
• Prepare surfaces for application by cleaning, decontaminating, removing parts if needed and applying finishes such as background paints, stencils and decals
• Install vinyl wraps and paint protection film (PPF) with precision, using specific tools and techniques
• Trim and finish applications neatly, ensuring smooth edges and professional presentation
• Remove existing film or wraps safely without damaging underlying surfaces
• Inspect completed work and perform quality control checks, addressing any imperfections
• Collaborate with team members safely, proficiently and professionally
• Maintain tools, workspace, and safety standards

Qualification & experience

Qualification & Experience

• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
• At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
• At least 1-year experince preferred

• Previous experience in vehicle wrapping is essential
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills
• A positive, professional attitude
• Current driver's licence
