About this opportunity:

Our Drakes Gympie store is currently looking for a motivated and trade qualified butcher, to join the meat team!

Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• Possess an Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
• Experience in a meat room in a retail business
• High standards of personal hygiene
• Commitment to work health and safety standards
• Excellent customer service skills
• Display a passion for fresh food within the grocery retail industry
• Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
• Ability to problem solve
• Communicate effectively with management, team members, customers and external stakeholders. 
• Excellent communication skills
