About the role

We are looking for an experienced Butcher to join our team at Meyn Street Meats in Singleton, NSW. This is a full-time position, with competitive pay and excellent benefits. As our Butcher, you will be responsible for expertly preparing and presenting a range of high-quality meat products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products to customer specifications

2. Providing excellent customer service and advice on meat selection and preparation

3. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in accordance with food safety regulations

4. Assisting with inventory management and stock control

5. Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and smooth daily operations

What we're looking for

1. Formal butchery qualifications or equivalent experience in a similar role

2. Demonstrated expertise in cutting, preparing, and presenting a wide range of meat products

3. Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide knowledgeable advice to customers

4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

5. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the business
