In this role, you will be exposed to a range of industry sectors, working on commercial, education, residential and government projects. You will be guided by experienced Building Surveyors/Certifiers but will be offered a lot of independence.

This role offers the opportunity to be involved with a wide range of challenging and exciting work throughout NSW.

The Opportunity:

·       Managing the coordination of proactive and targeted inspection activities

·       You will focus on the timely completion of inspections and the issue of inspection reports

·       Conduct inspections to a high standard & maintain consistency and care following all procedures.

·       Be punctual and maintain thorough and timely communication with customers and the team

·       Carry out both mandatory and quality assurance inspections

·       Inspections will range from various commercial project meaning each day will be different.

Our Ideal Candidate:

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

·       At least 2 years’ experience in construction

·       Experience in carrying out inspections for all classes 2 to 9 is ideal but not necessary, training will be provided as required

·       Experience working in building certification and building surveying in either a Local Government or private practice setting is ideal but not necessary, training will be provided as required

·       Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and keep your tasks within various projects on track

·       The ability to work within a motivated team

·       Friendly and enthusiastic

·       Full Driver’s License

·       You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this position.
