We currently have openings for qualified boilermakers based between Cardiff & Singleton, with a focus on CHPP operations across various sites. These positions involve the management, maintenance, and repair of surface mining equipment and fixed assets.

** Key Responsibilities **

• Ability to interpret drawings and perform site marking and setting out tasks

• Maintain physical fitness and motivation

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

• Exhibit excellent time management skills

• Possess strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

• Hold a valid driver’s license

• Successfully pass medical and police checks

** Essential Criteria **

• Proven commitment to safe work practices

• Fabrication trade qualifications and experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment

• Effective communication skills that foster positive interpersonal relations within work teams

• Proficient in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings; skilled in marking, cutting with an oxy cutter, grinding, and gouging

• Experience in welding across all positions using flux-core, MIG, and stick methods

• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment faults efficiently

• Coordination in requesting necessary spare parts and parts planning

• Capability to identify faults in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components

• Conduct inspections, installations, and maintenance/repairs on equipment

• EWP, Forklift, Dogman, and Rigger tickets are highly regarded

• Confined Space certification

• TRG - Hot Works

• First-Aid

• Order 45 Pre-placement Medical
