Mount Isa Mines are currently seeking skilled and experienced trade roles. These positions are residentially based in Mount Isa, and there are a variety of roster options that can offer a good work life balance.
We have a wide-range of opportunities such as:
- Electricians
- Diesel Fitters
- Fitters & Mechanics
- Radio Technician
- Boilermakers
- Refrigeration Mechanics
Mount Isa also offers outdoor recreation—fishing, organised sports and camping—and nearby natural attractions such as waterfalls, gorges, caves, mountain ranges, rock art and fossil trails.
The community of Mount Isa has variety of schools, shops and dining, and newcomers are quickly welcomed into a close-knit community with strong local support networks.

In order to be considered for these roles, you must meet the following requirements:
- Trade qualifications [Australian or equivalent]
- Trade specific licensing
- Hold a current manual Australian driver’s license
- Ability to start ASAP
