As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles in line with manufacturer standards and workplace safety requirements. You will be working collaboratively with service advisors and workshop staff to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Task & responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment
• Repair or replace worn or faulty components including engine parts, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension systems
• Carry out inspections and road tests to identify faults and confirm repairs
• Follow manufacturer specifications and workshop procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation

Qualification & experience

• Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience preferred
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Valid drivers license
