About the role

Beauty Queen is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Beauty Therapist to join our team in Casuarina, NT. This is a casual position offering flexible working arrangements. As a Beauty Therapist, you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional beauty and wellness services to our valued clients. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming, professional environment where clients feel relaxed and rejuvenated, whilst maintaining the high standards that define the Beauty Queen brand.

What you'll be doing

• Providing a full range of beauty treatments including facials, body treatments, waxing, and skincare consultations

• Conducting thorough consultations with clients to understand their beauty and skincare needs and recommend appropriate treatments

• Performing beauty treatments with precision and professionalism, adhering to all health and safety regulations

• Maintaining accurate treatment records and client preferences to deliver personalised service on repeat visits

• Ensuring the treatment room is clean, hygienic and well-stocked with all necessary products and equipment

• Building strong client relationships through excellent customer service and product recommendations

• Keeping up to date with the latest beauty trends, techniques and products in the industry

• Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues when required

• Following all company policies, health and safety procedures, and relevant beauty industry standards

What we're looking for

• A recognised Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent relevant training and experience

• Proven experience working as a Beauty Therapist in a salon or spa environment and comfortable to work on both men and women

• Strong knowledge of skincare products, beauty treatments and contraindications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make clients feel comfortable and valued

• A professional approach to hygiene, sanitation and health and safety practices

• The ability to work flexibly and adapt to casual shift patterns

• A genuine passion for beauty and wellness services

• Preferred: experience in a client-focused beauty environment and knowledge of retail product sales
