Buckley’s Auto Repairs is a small family-owned business with a strong focus on customer service and high-quality workmanship. We take pride in our work, ensuring every job is done right the first time. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced full-time Motor Mechanic to join our team.

We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for various workshop duties, including but not limited to diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and troubleshooting issues to maximise vehicle reliability and functionality.

Task & Responsibilities

Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately across a wide range of vehicles
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades
Conduct routine maintenance services and mechanical repairs
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues
Maintain a high standard of quality workmanship
Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures
Assist in maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment

Qualification & Experience

Must have current Australian working rights (those without need not apply)
Australian-recognised automotive qualification (Cert III or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an automotive workshop
Ability to use vehicle diagnostic systems effectively
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
Full and valid manual driver's licence (essential)
Ability to work independently and within a team
Good attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
Willingness to learn and develop skills further
Own tools required (excluding main workshop equipment)
Customer service skills (desirable)
