About the role

Tallangatta Bakery is seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef or Baker to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is based in Tallangatta, VIC 3700 and will play a crucial part in the ongoing success of our well-established bakery.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and baking a variety of high-quality pastries, breads and other baked goods
• Ensuring all products meet food safety and quality requirements
• Assisting with the daily operations of the bakery, including inventory management and customer service
• Continuously improving processes and developing new recipes to delight our customers
• Mentoring and training junior bakers to uphold our commitment to excellence

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in baking or patisserie, or equivalent extensive experience
• Proven track record as a Pastry Chef or Baker, ideally in a commercial bakery environment
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods
• Strong time management and organisational skills to work efficiently
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
• Commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards
