Task & responsibilities

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
• Inspecting, dismantling and repairing engines, transmissions and drive systems
• Servicing braking systems, steering components and suspension systems
• Replacing defective mechanical and electrical components
• Performing routine maintenance and preventative servicing
• Using diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment
• Conducting vehicle inspections and performance testing
• Ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards

Qualification & experience

• Relevant automotive qualification or equivalent trade certificate
• Minimum 1 year relevant work experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
• Current driver licence preferred
