As the Electrical Automation Technician, you will:

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair various electro-mechanical equipment, including PLCs, sensors, servos, and automated systems.
• Provide technical support to production teams, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
• Contribute to in-house machinery design, development, and maintenance, such as our proprietary stacking modules.
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Engage in electrical and mechanical tasks, demonstrating versatility in troubleshooting and maintenance.

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Qualifications as an electrician and additional electrical engineering or automation technology credentials are advantageous.
• Proficiency in programming, operating, and troubleshooting PLCs (experience with Omron PLCs is beneficial).
• A solid understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• The ability to diagnose and resolve issues with proximity sensors, vacuum switches, and other industrial components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Industry Background: While experience in injection moulding is advantageous, we value transferable skills from related industries.
