We are seeking a qualified and reliable Automotive Technician to join our busy multi-franchise dealership representing Ford, Honda, Kia and Isuzu UTE. You will diagnose, service and repair a wide range of vehicles while meeting manufacturer standards and delivering excellent customer outcomes.

Task & responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs across multiple brands
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
  • Complete manufacturer warranty repairs to brand requirements
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional service needs
  • Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment safely and correctly
  • Ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer quality standards
  • Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
  • Meet productivity and efficiency targets
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
  • Work collaboratively with Service Advisors, Workshop Controllers and Apprentices

Qualification & experience

  • Trade Qualified Automotive Technician (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology – AUR30620 or equivalent)
  • Previous dealership experience preferred (multi-brand highly regarded)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to follow manufacturer repair procedures and time allowances
  • High attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Current Australian Driver Licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable (not essential):

  • Manufacturer training/accreditation (Ford, Honda, Kia, Isuzu UTE)
  • Experience with modern vehicle systems, diagnostics or hybrid technology
  • ARCtick Air Conditioning Licence
  • Roadworthy/Safety Inspection Licence (state-based)
