We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our team. 

In this role, you will dismantle, diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of petrol and diesel vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Task & responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of petrol and diesel vehicles.
• Conducts routine maintenance to improve vehicle performance and meet emission standards
• Identify mechanical and electrical issues and provide solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Disassembles and extracts engine units, transmissions, steering systems, and other parts, inspecting them for faults and conduct necessary repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs in clear terms.

Qualification & experience

• AQF Certificate III (or equivalent) including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2+ years Proven experience as a motor mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
