ABOUT THE ROLE  
Repairhub continue to grow, and due to this we now require an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Banyo QLD, Head Office. The Financial Accountants main responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely recording, reporting, and analysis of financial transactions across the Repairhub business. This will include but not be limited to:
  • Responsible for the preparation of P&L, balance sheet, and monthly management reports, ensuring effective comparison with budgets.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger, maintaining compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
  • Manage the preparation and lodgement of monthly BAS.
  • Maintenance of various company register including fixed assets, property, rebates and leases
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including financial institution, auditors, and taxation authorities to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Assist with evaluating financial and operational implications of business initiatives, projects, and investments.
  • Assist with preparation of the annual Budget including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, by engaging with key business management.
  • Prepare periodic financial forecasts on an ongoing basis.
  • Monitor and report performance against budget.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting requirements as needed.
ABOUT YOU:
To be a successful candidate for this opportunity, you will possess the below skills and attributes;
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) or working towards is preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Advanced skills in Excel required. Experience with Power BI preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across departments.
