$76,515 - $90,000 Annual

· Maintain, test, and repair diesel motors and mechanical parts of heavy vehicles.

· Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in engines and components.

· Dismantle, remove, and reassemble engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other parts.

· Perform scheduled maintenance services (oil changes, lubrications, tune-ups).

· Test and adjust repaired mechanical parts for optimal performance.

· Diagnose and test parts using computer-assisted tools.

· May also inspect vehicles, issue roadworthiness certificates, or respond to breakdown calls.

Task & responsibilities

Qualification & experience

Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanical Trade Qualification - MEM31419 Cert 3 or AUR31212 - Cert 3

Valid Australian driver’s license

Must hold working rights in Australia

High Risk License (Essential)

Ability to pass full medical and drug and alcohol screening

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong commitment to safety practices.
