About the Role

Jemmervale Designs is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Cabinet Maker to join our team in Shepparton, VIC. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in handcrafting and finishing beautiful furniture and cabinetry. 

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with all aspects of furniture manufacturing including, bespoke, commercial and retail projects.
• Learning how to produce, read and interpret 3D digital technical drawings and specifications
• Operating a variety of modern, high quality machinery and power tools
• Learning how to structure and implement efficient manufacturing processes
• Preparing, spray painting and finishing furniture and cabinetry with 2pac paints, oils and other finishing products

What we're looking for

• A strong interest and passion for cabinet making and woodworking
• Good manual dexterity and an excellent eye for detail
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• The ability to take initiative and be an accountable team member
• Willingness to learn and a commitment to completing your apprenticeship
