About the role

Bright Metal Forms PTY Ltd, a leading provider of high-quality metal fabrication services, is seeking an experienced Boiler Maker to join our team in Wetherill Park, NSW. This full-time role will see you play a key part in the fabrication and assembly of custom metal products, contributing to the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Fabricate and weld metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications

• Operate various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding machines

• Perform layout, cutting, and fitting of metal parts to assemble finished products

• Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and safety requirements

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

• Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements and optimise efficiency

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Boiler Making or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade

• Extensive experience (3+ years) as a Boiler Maker or Welder, demonstrating a high level of technical proficiency

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Proficient in the use of various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues

• Commitment to safety and quality standards

• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
