Do you want to be part of a small team committed to baking great quality bread and bread products everyday? At Bakers Delight Ballarat City we are seeking an ambitious, energetic and hard working person to join our team. There will be weekend work required on a rotating roster and starting times would initially be from 7am and then progress to earlier start times once you have settled into the position.

You will undertake a 3 year apprenticeship to become a qualified baker, with the opportunity to do on-the-job training in a modern bakery environment with some of the latest equipment as well as trade school. This can be done as a school-based apprenticeship as well so you can combine school and work.

Applicants must be 17+ years of age to be eligible for this apprentice baker position.

Australian work rights are required for this apprentice position.

You'll learn how to prepare and mix dough's, how to produce different products, how to bake our range of products, as well as customer service and cleaning of the bakery.

No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn. Would also consider a school student seeking weekend work.

Part-time hours: 24 - 32 per week
