Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Repair damaged vehicle panels using appropriate tools and techniques
• Remove and replace damaged panels and components
• Straighten frames and chassis using hydraulic equipment
• Weld, file, sand and prepare surfaces for painting
• Carry out structural repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Maintain tools and workshop equipment in good working order
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Use Car-O-Liner Frame Bench for Repairing Vehicles and Car-O-Liner Frame Measuring Tool.
• Use SPOT Welder

Skills and Experience Required

• Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology (or equivalent qualification) OR 
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant industry experience as a Panel Beater
• Strong knowledge of automotive body repair techniques
• Ability to read and interpret repair specifications
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Valid Light Vehicle driver’s licence (Australian or equivalent International DL)
• Experience in PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) will be advantageous. 
• Experience in Windshield Replacement will be advantageous.
