WE’RE HIRING – QUALIFIED FABRICATOR / WELDER (CASUAL OR CONTRACT)

We’re on the hunt for an aluminium fabricator/welder to join our team here at Forge. You’ll be working on our range of premium aluminium trays, canopies, internal fitouts, and 12V power systems—all built in-house, start to finish.

We’re offering a casual or contract position, with a 3-month probation. Ready for someone to jump in straight away (but happy to wait for the right fit). You don’t have to be formally qualified, if you’ve got solid skills, a good attitude, and general knowledge of the industry, and enjoy getting stuck into quality work with a family-owned business, then we want to hear from you!

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Trade qualified preferred - however not required, as long as you showcase general knowledge/skills within the industry

• Confident with aluminium welding

• Experience with trays, canopies, or 4x4 builds is a bonus

• Strong attention to detail & presentation

• Can work solo and as part of a crew

• Takes pride in doing the job right

• Keen to get involved and bring some energy to the workshop

GENERAL OVERVIEW OF JOB TASKS

• Operate CNC plasma table

• Operate press brake folder

• Welding and fabrication of aluminium components

• Sanding and grinding of parts

• Pre-assembly of builds and reassembly onto vehicles

• Maintain workshop cleanliness and equipment upkeep
