Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Welder / Fabricator to join our manufacturing team, producing high-quality heavy-duty bullbars, bumpers and associated products.

We are looking to employ a boilermaker/welder as we service Australia's growing mining industry from our workshop based in Maddington.

About the business and the role Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on light-gauge steel, RHS, and structural components used in caravan chassis and frames Fabricate and assemble caravan chassis, drawbars, suspension mounts, brackets, and associated structural components Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication plans, and production specifications Measure, mark, cut, and prepare steel components using hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment Align and position components accurately prior to welding Inspect welds to ensure compliance with required strength, penetration, and quality standards Grind, finish, and clean welds to meet quality and presentation requirements Conduct routine quality checks to ensure components meet production tolerances Maintain welding equipment and ensure tools are in safe operating condition Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) procedures within the manufacturing facility Work collaboratively within a production team to meet daily output targets What we're looking for Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience as a Welder (First Class) AQF Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or nationally recognised equivalent relevant to Welding) Demonstrated experience in MIG welding (essential) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans Experience working with light to medium-gauge steel in a manufacturing environment High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work efficiently within a structured production setting Physically fit and capable of handling steel components as required Why Join Us?
