Administration Assistant

KFI Toowoomba is a growing, locally based business supporting Queensland’s mining, civil, and heavy-industry sectors. We pride ourselves on being practical, reliable, and people-focused—backing our operations teams with strong systems and solid administration.

We’re looking for a highly organised Administration Assistant to support our workshop, field service, and leadership team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on admin role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and isn’t afraid to jump in where needed.

Key responsibilities include:

• General administration and office support

• Data entry, document management, and record keeping

• Invoicing support, purchase orders, and job paperwork

• Answering phones and managing emails professionally

• Supporting onboarding and compliance paperwork

• Liaising with workshop staff, field technicians, and management

• Assisting with scheduling, reporting, and day-to-day operations

About You

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have previous experience in an administration or office support role

• Previous experience in a mechanical workshop or mining environment

• Are organised, reliable, and detail-focused

• Communicate clearly and professionally

• Are confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Confident at using Xero

• Can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Enjoy working with tradespeople and operational teams

• Take ownership and pride in your work

Experience in a trades, construction, mining, or industrial environment will be highly regarded—but not essential.
