As a Motor Mechanic at Westside Volkswagen, you will be responsible for maintaining automobiles to the highest standards of dependability and safety. You will carry out routine maintenance, identify and fix mechanical and electrical issues, and make sure that everything is finished in compliance with workshop and manufacturer requirements. Task & responsibilities

• Identifying and evaluating engine and component mechanical and electrical issues. 
• Inspecting parts and disassembling and removing steering mechanisms, engine assemblies, transmissions, and other elements.
• Replacing and repairing worn-out and damaged parts, and consulting service manuals as necessary.
• Carrying out planned maintenance procedures, such as engine tune-ups, lubrications, and oil changes, to make cars function more smoothly and guarantee that pollution standards are met.
• Testing and fine-tuning mechanical components to ensure optimal operation following repair.
• Stay updated on new automotive technologies and repair techniques
• Give consumers clear explanations of technical problems and offer advice on maintenance and repairs.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum requirement: Diploma in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis or relevant
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques, preferably in Volkswagen Vehicles.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driver’s license.
