We need a motor Mechanic with at least 2 years of work experience in the automotive industry with the following credentials:

Knowledgeable in a broad range of makes and models of motor vehicles, including the BMW, Mercedes, and Audi

Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.)

Checking, performing tests, and diagnosing engine Faults and issues, using computer systems to diagnose the faults, including the BMW, Mercedes, and Audi

Tyre changing and wheel balancing. Brake repairs and replacement, removing, repairing and replacing the vehicle parts as required, and assembling the parts in their proper location.

Using automotive equipment, such as Hoists, compressed-air tools, jacks, electric power tools, lifting equipment, and manual tools, in accordance with job requirements.

Performing regular servicing of engines and transmissions by replacing the engine oil, Transmission oil, oil filters, air filters, lights, checking water levels, brakes, checking all lubricant levels, Air in tyres, etc.

Disassemble and reassemble parts, transmissions, and related components. If required, removing and dismantling the engine assembly, transmission, drive shafts, steering rack, axles, ball joints, etc. and placing them back (reassembly) after repair or replacement.

Inspect, diagnose, and detect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components using up-to-date diagnostic scanning tools.

Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.

Supervise and train apprentices and trainees to comply with Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and ensure a safe workplace.

Preparing invoices and vehicle reports, reporting any OHS risks and significant issues to the Supervisor immediately.

Qualification & experience

Mechanic: 2 years (Required)

Full Driver's Licence (Required)

At least Cert 4 in Automotive Diagnosis. (Required)
