What you need to know...
•    fixed term full time - 76 hours per fortnight

Do you have a passion for plants, the outdoors, and making your community beautiful? 
Clarence Valley Council is offering an exciting Horticulture Apprenticeship, where you’ll gain hands-on experience caring for and enhancing our region’s vibrant open spaces.

We have two roles available. One based at Rushforth Road Works Depot in South Grafton and one at our Townsend Depot. 

As an apprentice, you’ll work towards a Certificate III in Horticulture (AHC30716) or Certificate III in Parks and Gardens (AHC31016) — nationally recognised qualifications that open the door to a rewarding career as a Horticulturalist.

Join our Open Spaces Team which manages:
• 1,120 hectares of parks and reserves
• 42 playgrounds & 27 sports fields
• 10 skate parks & 50 public amenities
• 100 km of coastline with 36 beaches, 3 towns, 60 villages, and over 7,000 registered trees in Grafton alone!

These positions are located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot and Townsend Depot however this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
