Responsibilties: 

Your main duties include:

• Use tools to find electrical problems in vehicles
• Remove and fix faulty electrical parts
• Install new electrical parts in cars
• Connect lights, alarms, and other accessories to power
• Check and adjust engine control systems
• Test and replace parts like alternators, starter motors, and batteries
• Repair or replace damaged wiring and ignition systems
• Replace small parts such as fuses, lights, and switches

Requirements:

To apply for this job, you should have:

• A relevant qualification (Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or similar)
• At least 1 year of practical experience working with vehicle electrical systems
• Basic knowledge of wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, and vehicle electronics
• Ability to use tools and equipment to find and fix faults
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work alone and also in a team
• Understanding of safety rules at work
• Valid driver’s licence (preferred)
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
