About the role

We are recruiting for a Grounds Person to join our team at Kingsford Terrace Retirement Village, Corinda.  Reporting to the Grounds and Gardens Manager, you will be responsible for providing all general Grounds Person duties across the village.  Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Attending to all reactive and preventative maintenance across the village as directed by the Grounds and Gardens Manager

• Co-ordinating waste management and associated bin rooms

• Maintaining buildings, gardens and grounds as directed by the Grounds and Gardens Manager

About You

• Ability to operate garden tools such as hedge trimmer, whipper snipper, lawn mower, etc.

• Possess a keen eye for detail

• Energetic, friendly with the ability to communicate effectively with the village team and residents as required

• Be physically fit as the work is manual and be able to work outdoors for long periods

• Previous experience working in a similar role well regarded

• A full, unrestricted driver’s licence

• A valid National Police Check

The successful applicant must also possess unlimited working rights in Australia.
