About the Role

Cactus Culture is one of South-East Queensland’s most distinctive landscaping and design companies, known for bold, architectural gardens and expert craftsmanship. We’re expanding fast with a new company Salt Landscaping recently launched—and we’re searching for an ambitious, hands-on individual who wants to grow into a leadership role and help shape the next chapter of our business.

From coastal and Mediterranean landscapes to native and hardscaped projects, no two jobs are the same. You’ll work directly with our owners—creative minds and dedicated fathers—who believe in giving every team member real autonomy, respect, and support to grow.

Main Responsibilities:

• Install and refine distinctive gardens—from removals to final planting and finishing

• Handle soil prep, plant selection, irrigation, and creative detailing

• Brainstorm and problem-solve onsite challenges with the team

• Maintain completed gardens through seasonal care and upkeep

• Assist with plant relocations and potted installations

• Promote safe, clean, and professional work practices

Requirements:

• Passion for outdoor creative work and design

• Problem solver with strong attention to detail

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

• Reliable, physically fit, and self-motivated

• Great communicator with clients and team members

• Current driver’s licence and own transport

• Willing to travel between Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and Gold Coast (with travel time paid)
