Apprenticeship - Tree Workers Arborist EWP Operators

About the role:

ETS holds contracts for vegetation clearance across roadside areas, rail corridors, electricity networks, and various councils and shires spanning Albany, Esperance, Perth, and the Northern and Southern River Regions including Wangara and Mandurah.

We are currently seeking to expand our team by recruiting new crew members to fill the following positions in Midvale, Armadale and Pinjarra.

• Chipper Operators

• Ground Crews (skilled in ground-based tree felling)

• EWP Operators (requires EWP High Risk Work Licence)

Away work may be available with these roles (optional) – in this instance a generous Living Away from Home Allowance (LAHA $232.99) will be provided.

About you:

• Highly safety conscious

• Physically fit & healthy, and love the great outdoors

• Highly motivated, with a positive attitude & able to work as part of a team

• Confident around machinery and willing to undertake all roles in a tree crew including Chipper Operation, Ground clearing, Cutting from an EWP, and climbing.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

• General Construction Safety White Card – Essential

• Medium Rigid Truck licence (MR) – Essential

• Chainsaw operation -highly regarded

• ESI Authorisation – highly regarded

• EWP licence – highly regarded

Previous industry experience is desired for these roles, but we are also willing to train applicants that have the right attitude to succeed with ETS, that also hold the above essential qualifications.
