OUR FACILITIES:    
Our company employs over 400 staff, across our growing national operations. Our main manufacturing and operations base is located at YATALA in Queensland (between the Gold Coast and Brisbane). We are only a 10-minute drive North of Dreamworld, on the M1 Motorway.
 
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Engineering Supervisor, the successful candidate will assist the Engineering team with machine and facilities maintenance, equipment checks and contribute to other general section work with our tradespeople.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates that possess skills or experience in the following areas: 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with fabrication and welding to fabricate, repair and modify equipment.
• Support tradespeople in maintenance and general repairs, as defined in our Quality Assurance processes and Engineering database.
• Provide general support in regular inspections of buildings, fittings and equipment to ensure continued service and operation.
• Maintain high levels of operator safety and communication, compliance with all WH&S requirements.

 
REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in fabrication/welding – a must.
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Prepared to do a Skills Test, as part of the recruitment process.  
• Flexible, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Hold a current Queensland manual driver's licence.
• Must be punctual, reliable and available for work Monday to Friday between 6:00 am - 3:30 pm.
